Instituto Cervantes de Viena

The Cervantes Institute in Vienna is directed by Mr. Ignacio Martínez-Castignani and its main purpose is to promote Spanish and Spanish-speaking culture in the Austrian capital. The Institute offers Spanish courses and is the accrediting body for standardized academic tests DELE, recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education.

Research group Romance Languages' Grammar

The research group Romance Languages’ Grammar, led by Univ. Prof., Dr. Bernhard Pöll, encourages discussion and exploration of the following points:

- Diachronic description of Romance grammars

- Syntax-semantics, syntax-prosody and semantics-pragmatics interfaces

- Linguistic typology in synchrony

- Analysis of L2/L3 learners’ grammar
