Lukas Eibensteiner studied Spanish, Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Vienna and the University of Alicante. He received his PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of Mannheim in 2020. Since November 2020, he is Tenure-Track-Professor in Didactics of Romance Languages at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany). His research focuses on the acquisition of second and third languages and multilingual pedagogy. He currently leads a third party funded research project on multilingual and intercultural learning.

Birgit Füreder studied Romance, English as well as German as a foreign language at the University of Salzburg (Austria). Besides working as a university lecturer in Salzburg, she was also granted several stays abroad for study, teaching and research activities. In 2018 she was awarded a Marie Andeßner PhD grant. Since 2019 she has been working as a research assistant at the department of Romance languages at the University of Salzburg and is also a member of the Doctoral School of Linguistics.

Isabel Repiso received her PhD in Linguistics at the University of Aix-Marseille in 2013. After Post-doctoral training at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, she was appointed as a Full-Time Lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (University of Upper Alsace) in 2014, where she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. She has been Visiting Scholar at the University of Granada (in 2017) and the University of Nantes (in 2018). In 2019, she was recruited as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Paris-Lodron-Universität Salzburg.
